BIOGRAPHY
Greg started out actually wanting to play drums and got a small kids set for Christmas when he was 8 or 9 but when he was given a couple of acoustic guitars when he was 10 he knew that's where his real love was... He got the band “Bug” when his older brother had formed a band with some high school friends..
Greg went on to play guitar and bass in a few high school bands and in the 1980's played acoustic guitar in a few weddings and could be seen playing with the acts at the local Winona Mn. Ground Round!
Greg then moved to Rochester in 1983 and started jamming with some local family and friends all of which evolved to his current band “Inertia”
As the co-founder of Inertia, Greg‘s solid rhythm guitar playing and blistering lead solo's can be heard on many of Inertia's songs as well as his back up vocals.
Greg plays Fender and Ibanez guitars and uses Fender and Crate all tube amps.
Greg also uses Keeley modified Boss and Ibanez tube screamer pedals!
Other known bands Greg has played in were Offshift and Livewire (both w/Duane).
Some of Greg's favorite guitar players include Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jerry Cantrell.
