Brian started playing keyboards at the age of 15 by messing around with the display models at Wal-Mart. One day some "older" kids heard him playing and told him to join them because they were starting a band. Although it never got off the ground, the seed was planted. By 18, Brian had played his first gig with some friends for a party and by 21, he was in a working band and his music addiction had fully taken root.
Brian has been fortunate enough to play with several bands over the years including Interstate, Horizon, Milo Savage, 5 Below and now Inertia.
Before joining Inertia, some of his high points were playing the Riverbend Music Fest and being part of opening acts for Head East, Jimmy VanZant, Kiss Army, Tesla and Firehouse.
Brians musical influences are bands like Journey, Kansas, and Night Ranger but he enjoys hard rock most of all (even though those bands rarely have keyboard players ! ) .
