BIOGRAPHY
Brent started playing drums at the age of 10. His first group played talent shows in Rochester when he was 12. He actively played in the band and played in special performances for concerts and assemblies throughout his school years. In 1975 he also played in the Southtown Singers that played many benefits in the Rochester area.
Brents first professional gig was with a Polka & 50's band in Northern Wisconsin, playing the local bars and Legion posts in Superior, WI and the surrounding area. After graduating in '78 Brent quit playing until meeting his current band mate Duane. In '86, Duane, Howie and Brent actively jammed with many different friends for three years before Brent took a job in Willmar MN in '89.
After moving to Willmar Brent played with five different bands. Mark Fitzsimmons Band, Timberlake Road , Doc Holiday, Leather & Lace and finally Ambush. During this period he played and sang all across Minnesota and South & North Dakota. A few notable gigs were at Corn Stalk Fest opening for Merle Haggard, Radney Foster and Highway 101.
In 1996 his band mates (and best friends) from Ambush moved to Missouri , buying and managing a bar and restaurant. He quit playing again until 2005 when his long time friend Duane, asked him to replace their current drummer Mark who took an amazing job driving for Joe Gibbs NASCAR team.
Brent currently plays a Roland electric drum set, singing some lead vocals along with backing vocals. With Brent's many different experiences, he considers playing with Inertia the best so far...
